There are different symptoms for different kinds of heart disease, however to a certain extent they might all seem quite alike. There are a few symptoms which are usually connected to the existence of a heart disease which may have not been discovered yet:

Angina: A very common symptom in the case of a heart disease, which manifests itself through chest pain as well as discomfort. Angina is perceived by the individual as an aching chest feeling but also pressure, hurting, saturation, burning and squeezing. Most of the times these symptoms are thought to be caused by heartburn or indigestion when they actually indicate a heart disease.

  • Lack of breath
  • Irregular heartbeats perceived as palpitations, but also significant alterations of the heart rate speed
  • Feebleness or weariness
  • Vertigo or fainting
  • Swelling of the feet, ankles or abdomen (also called edema)
  • Cough or breathing with a whistling sound
  • Nausea or even vomiting
  • Sweating
  • Cyanosis, which causes the skin, lips and fingernails get a bluish shade in fiber.
